So as this time of year comes around I am stating to feel off, not depressed or sad but just sort of flat if you understand what I mean.. no get up and go, tired a lot, not a lot of enthusiasm for much and low sex drive, presuming this is SAD as I tend to get like this yearly, iv had 2 baby’s in 2 years (born in the same month 2 years apart) and this time of year I was in he first trimester and felt lousy like you do, now I’m not pregnant and few shitty!! Anyone else feel like this? And if so what helps you?

Yep just sounds like a sort SAD / reaction to the change in seasons. I get the same thing but usually just during the transition, fine once proper autumn / winter kicks in.

I have an alarm clock that simulates daylight on waking and several SAD bulbs that allegedly replicate daylight.

The alarm clock definitely helps in the mornings, I have no idea if the bulbs actually work or if its just a placebo effect but it seems to make a difference as well.

I have a light box but doesn’t seem to do much for me! I think you might be right about the transition into seasons!

Do you take vitamin d in the winter months? Can help with the SAD feelings in winter.

No I don’t vintage but iv just been reading up about it, defiantly worth a go!
