Speaking as a mum who has tried everything (bar shaving to the scalp) I'd like to know if anyone has tried the Licetec V Comb. It's meant to vacuum out the lice and nits into a disposable filter. It has mainly positive reviews but also some less glossy. Before I shell out £40 plus more for filters I'd appreciate some advice please.

The one thing that I found out (by accident) really works is semi-permanent hairdye! Headlice were gone, never to be seen again.

I don't know about this Lisetec comb though, sorry.

Thanks Bella! Not sure I can get away with dying the rest of the family's hair!

Nitty gritty comb

Coconut oil. Leave it in for 24 hour’s , WSJ and comb. It kills the adults, repeat in7 days to get the hatched eggs.

I'm sure other people had success with listerine mouthwash?

Listerine is a myth combing every three days is the only thing that works - day 12 approaching 😩

We had a few months of constant infections. I just used the silicone based treatment every 5 days for 3 weeks along with combing, which got rid of them.
I have found that it often takes 3-4 weeks to get rid of them all. I now comb through once a week, just to keep an eye on them.
