Speak to gp!!! She should’nt be that bad unless totally knocked out by a virus. She may still be ill.

AwdBovril · 06/09/2018 18:42

I'd be more concerned about why she's that ill - has she seen a doctor? Does she have a temperature, rash etc? Is she drinking enough?

Knittedfairies · 06/09/2018 18:42

Is she feeling better now, and the wobbly legs ‘just’ because she’s been in bed for three days?

PandaPieForTea · 06/09/2018 18:42

Is she actually better? I don’t think a couple of days in bed should do that to a 3 year old and I think she probably needs to be seen by a doctor.

Cottonsheets · 06/09/2018 18:45

I would call NHS immediately for peace of mind.

Quartz2208 · 06/09/2018 18:46

That does not sound right or normal

FoxesSitOnBoxes · 06/09/2018 18:49

Not normal at all! See a doctor!

Piggyhoolier · 06/09/2018 18:55

Out of hours dr right now OP. Hopefully just a virus but I had something at the start of the year where I was wobbly/couldn’t stand and the Dr called me an ambulance. Spent several weeks in hospital. Recovery took 6 months. Some neurological illnesses can affect movement and can be very serious. Please don’t delay, phone now.

MummyFaith03 · 06/09/2018 19:00

She broke her collarbone on saturday so hasn't wanted to move. She walked a little at hospital tuesday when we attended the fracture clinic and then sat back down until now.

TAKE HER TO OUT OF HOURS MEDICAL CARE NOW

Dontknowwhatimdoing · 06/09/2018 19:02

Are you sure she hasn't hurt herself somewhere else? It seems odd that she isn't walking with a broken collar bone.

Haworthia · 06/09/2018 19:02

Have they been in bed due to the collar bone break, or for some other illness?

Neither of my children would have been capable of staying in bed for days aged 3, so your description is ringing massive alarm bells. You need medical advice urgently.

BikeRunSki · 06/09/2018 19:04

If she's that wobbly and weak, and has had fall, i’d Be concerned about concussion, compression or internal bleeding. She needs seeing by a dr this evening (i’m a first aider).

starbrightlight · 06/09/2018 19:04

Agree this is a medical emergency. Please seek urgent medical care. Dial 999 now.

MollyHuaCha · 06/09/2018 19:07

Hope you can speak to medical professional soon.

MummyFaith03 · 06/09/2018 19:08

Shes totally fine apart from the wobbly legs :/ is it not just because she hasnt walked much? Im sure if i sat down for days my legs would be jelly

DearMrDilkington · 06/09/2018 19:09

How did she break her collar bone? I'd take her to a&e if she can barely walk.

hugoagogo · 06/09/2018 19:10

There's no we can tell, I would get some professional advice.

FuckyDuzz · 06/09/2018 19:11

Why has she been in bed for days with a broken collarbone?

Treacletoots · 06/09/2018 19:11

Wow. Just wow. FFS please call for medical help. You are being neglectful not just making sure.

Want2bSupermum · 06/09/2018 19:11

No 3 year old spends more than sleeping hours in a bed. Go to A&E. Not normal at all. Hope she is ok. Out of hours will most probably send her to A&E. I would want a paediatrician to look her over. Not normal for 3 days after a fall.

starbrightlight · 06/09/2018 19:14

You say she's totally fine apart from wobbly legs but the reality is you don't know for sure and wobbly legs and being unable to walk rings alarm bells.

Please seek urgent medical care. They will not criticise you for being careful even if she turns out to be fine. At the very least dial 111 and get their opinion.

Below is copied from NHS website:

NHS 111 is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It can provide medical advice and details of the best local service that can provide care. Telephone consultations and triage (an assessment of how urgent your medical problem is) are an important part of all out-of-hours care.

Dial 111 right now and speak to someone. Please.

AlexaShutUp · 06/09/2018 19:14

I broke my collarbone, OP. Incredibly painful but I assure you it didn't stop me from walking. You need to seek urgent medical attention.

Parttimewasteoftime · 06/09/2018 19:17

Go to A and E, my DS2 broke his collar bone was not in bed for three days! He actually couldn't settle in bed had to sleep with him. By day three he was playing tablet and watching too much TV.

beela · 06/09/2018 19:19

Please phone 111.
