I have an appointment on Tuesday (soonest they could fit me in as it isn't an emergency)

But I'd like to buy something in case it falls out over the weekend - I have work on Monday Sad

You can get emergency dental kits... Can't place the shop in my head right now (maybe Tesco?) but I'm sure a chemist will do them. They have a glue in that should do until you get seen.

Go to a pharmacy - there is a specialist product for fixing loose crowns that you can buy over-the-counter.

It's called Toofypegs. I had a pack in my bathroom cabinet before my crown got so crap that it was beyond repair! Got it from my local chemist for a few quid.

Why do you need to stick it back in? Us it right at front?

DunesOfSand · 01/09/2018 10:05

My temporary crown came out, and stayed in for 24hrs with toothpaste holding it in....

Yep my big tooth at the front - I couldn't go to work with a post!
I bought some stuff - but it might stay in until Tuesday afternoon (fingers crossed)

Hopefully whatever you've bought will help keep it in. Just eat soup till Tuesday Wink

It never bloody fell out - just wobbled and wobbled for over a week!

It took the dentist ages to actually get it out! and he stuck it back in in about a tenth of the time it took to get out!!

Thanks everyone Grin < I look like that now
