have you cut out the sugary drinks and foods and yeasty things like bread and beer? Wear cotton only (ie not 95% just 100%) and no tights or jeans, leggings. Nuke your underwear on a hot cycle in the washing machine too. Ok, said my piece. Long live the healthy fanjo.

I don't think a healthy fanjo generally feels like anything, IYSWIM, unless you generate the tingle deliberately. (Wasn't there a MNer whose loveballs fell out in Tesco once?) But the occasional tingle doesn't necessarily mean it's still festering, maybe just off-balance and needs a bit of tlc. Yogurt, for example, and showering with something soothing - I swear by washing with Lactacyd if I get an unwarranted tingle.

Why don't you go back to your gp and get him to retest for thrush-soap makes mine tingle and itch at times...
