If you have cancer of the womb, do they remove it or is there any chance of svaing it ??

I guess it depends on the extent of the cancer. You could have s amll cancerous tumour perhaps and they might be able to just remove the tumour but maybe they would recommend removal of the whole uterus to prevent a recurrance? I have little knowledge of these things though.

Oh yes it's not me, my friend.

She has been ill recently and now they are testing for womb cancer.

It would depend what kind of cancer, I think. Some they can shrink to nothing with radiotherapy/chemotherapy, but after that, I think chances of carrying a child would be slim. (I'm basing this on a friend's experience of a rare cancer near her cervix.)

She has no kids yet, and so wants some.

Will keep all my fingers crossed that it isn't that.
