So my dh started throwing up at midnight last night and had a fever of 38.5, he threw up 3 times in the night but no diarrhea (sp?). I've bleached the toilet, taps and door handles (wearing rubber gloves which have been thrown out) plus thrown out mine and ds toothbrushes plus dh has washed his hands after every throw up. What are the chances of me and ds catching it? If you can't already tell I'm phobic of vomiting but I also can't take any time off work this week as my boss is on holiday and I'm running the shop on my own. Please give me good statistics.

smurfy oh no what a coincidence! Maybe it is going around Belfast. Gosh I hope you feel better soon, glad you have a friend coming round with ice pops. Xx

:( Sorry to hear that, yes it is something going the rounds.

I'm a bit further down the country than Belfast in the border regions but it is doing the rounds locally here, I checked with GP surgery on phone yesterday.

Encouraging your DS to have a restful day and you to avoid it, also remember toilet seat down after flushing any D anyway so it's not hanging around the air, let some air in.

Hope this is over fast and general run is as PP said 48 hours, I'm getting a backlash from double antibiotics last week so not helping but sipping dilute, ice lollies at normal "mealtimes",

I plan on toast later and I've had some applesauce last night which caused rebellion, also diorlyte and bananas at the ready, I have started probiotic drinks x 3 times a day, as well as I, know my gut is in turmoil after all the antibiotics.

I have some broth in the fridge for when I'm more ready to eat but it's going to be very bland for days and let body recover.

Flowers for you and Bear for your DS to cuddle

Thanks smurf, I've had to go to work this morning, dh is feeling a good bit better and will be looking after ds today. As I said before my boss is off so I'm running my work and cannot fathom how I could take even one day off other than my scheduled day without it being a real disaster at work. Sorry you are still suffering too 😭 sending hugs xx
