Pre-school booster - is it normal to have high temperature after ?

My dd2 had her preschool boosters at lunch time yesterday. Her temperature today just kept on rising (although I know its been v hot as well) reaching 39 at teatime. This despite me pouring nurofen and calpol down her. Has anyone else experienced this? I am assuming the temp is a reaction to the MMR one. I thought there wouldn't be such reactions to the boosters only the first set of jabs. Her arm where she had the dtp is has quite a large red and hard patch too. Don't remember dd1 being this bad (but maybe I have selective amnesia!).
TIA

Ds1 had the pre-school MMR and Polio on Thursday (he's allergic to DTP). According to the info sheet the HV gave me, a temp is normal and so is a lump around the site of the injection. It does say though that if symptoms persist or worsen then call the GP. Ds1 has had a temp on and off since Friday but it's possible that his is due to the same bug that his little brother has.

I would say to go with your instincts as you know your child better than anyone.
