Pelvic toners - any good

For the past 12 to 18 months, I have experienced dribbles when I cough, sneeze, laugh, sometimes with some certain movements too.

Going though a bad dose of sinus and hayfever with bad cough (which is easing, thank goodness) and I'm dribble a lot.

Its time for me to start on pelvic floor excercises. I don't know if I"m squeezing the right muscles down below. I keep squeezing my ass and then I tense up in the lower back.

I'm looking online at devices for this job. There's a few different supplies for the job:

Tens machine like skendertone but for vaginal muscles
A gigantic peg lookalike device for inserting and squeezing
Egg shaped/tampon shaped balls with weights for holding in

Anyone have experience of any of these? I wonder what the best would be for ease of use, comfort and timing.

I'm eyeing up a tens machine. A lot of them are so expensive but I'm looking at one that isn't as expensive as a popular brand I read about.

I wonder would it be possible to insert a device and go about the house doing jobs and duties while using the device.

I've been wondering the same thing op so I'm interested in what others say. I've also been eyeing up a tens machine. I had a c section and my muscles never recovered. I've had physio but I still dribble, it's awful.

I love your username allthefuckery, it's so funny.

There's so many devices, it's hard to choose.

I'm coughing a lot lately and it's worse at night time and then the dribbling is worse at night time too. I have to do something.

I ended up putting in an order this morning for a tens or ems device. It's a budget device. Hopefully it will help.

The ball type ones, like LeLo are designed to be left in whilst you walk or go about daily activity. I think the idea is that they provide a resistance for you to hold in whilst moving and that exercises the muscles.

The peg/tampon ones are designed to be used lying down and in a focused way, eg by doing a series of reps of squeezing the device in situ. You can get these devices on prescription.

Not sure re the TENS style ones, as to whether you can go about your business or whether it is best to stay at rest.
