Hi everyone.
I’m pregnant for the very first time, currently 5/40, and since week 4 I have been horrible period like pains on the right side of my lower abdomen. They were so severe I ended up in hospital and that’s how I found out about being pregnant.
I’ve had two scans, both show intra-uterine pregnancy, so there isn’t any indication of being ectopic. I have no bleeding, fever, vomiting or whatsoever. The pain is currently my only symptom. I am also not constipated or gasy.
Assuming the implantation time is now over, and I still get this horrible cramps specially at night, no one has got a clue where this pain comes from. I have got fibromyalgia, and wonder if it could be related, as I might be more sensitive to pain than others.
Did anyone else ever experienced really high intensity pains at this stage with no apparent reason? xx

Could it be everything stretching and changing? I had pains in my first pregnancy. If they persist I’d ask for a scan when you can see the heartbeat around 7 weeks! Good luck x

I had pains like that for a couple of weeks at the start of my pregnancy with DS (now 7). Rest of the pregnancy was completely fine, but I did have an ovarian cyst rupture a couple of months ago and that was a very similar pain, so maybe something like that? 🤷‍♀️
