Conjunctivitis advice pls

Woke up last Wed with it,got over the counter drops,no good .went for antibio and a wash,but still so sore and blood shot and stuck in the morning. Is this normal? This is third day of anti bio. So fed up of it. Look like an extra from twilight 😵

I am suffering from the same an antibiotic ointment has been prescribed. It is very painful and I don’t have any yellow crust just the same symptoms as yours. When did you stop the antibiotics please?

Oh Lokki it's horrible isn't it? For me,I made the decision after 5 days of taking them because there was zero change and the pain was worse than the original pain.but I did speak with my doc x.

It is horrible. Mine started on last Tuesday. I am so glad I found this thread and stopped the antibiotic ointment today. Already feeling much better. It was making the situation worse. Lafyofc42, please did you do anything else to ease the symptoms?

I bathed them with cotton wool pads soaked in cool boiled water with a pinch of salt.just sat on the couc h. And i wore sunglasses all day everyday.
