Feeling hot all the time!

Really fed up and wondering if anyone else has this problem? And if so what helps you?
I get hot and sweaty really easily, and if I get hot, find it really hard to cool down.
For instance, I'll have a shower in the morning (not too hot!) and get ready etc. but by the time I've gotten ready I'm feeling hot and a bit sweaty again :-(
It's been like this for 4/5 years now and it seems worse lately probably because of the humid weather. I'm often feeling hot when others aren't though.
Is anyone else like this??

I'm 35
Not overweight but the upper range of normal
Not taking any medication
Not stressed or in a hurry generally (but obvs it's worse if I am)
Average level of fitness

Help please!!!

Have you mentioned this to your GP?

I've heard it can sometimes be thyroid-related - you're a bit young for it to be menopause, especially since it's been going on so long.

Hope the GP can help Flowers

Thanks - it's not my thyroid as have had blood tests. Maybe I just need to lose some weight!

I'm late 30's and I get this. Had it to varying degrees for the past few years. For me the sweating was becoming embarrassing, and the more embarrassed I got the hotter and sweatier I got!
I went to the GP and got prescribed oxybutinin? to stop the sweats. It really works, I do still get hot but my skin on my arms and face goes a bit red and feels hot which I can cope with as long as I'm not sweating.

Yes I get horribly hot all the time! Luckily not so much with the sweats though.

For me it was after DC2 was born so I reckon some sort of hormonal change?

Thanks for your replies!
I shall look up oxybutinin, thanks.
I do feel it's hormonal as I think it's got worse since having my daughter.
Am wondering if it could be perimenopause?
