Urgent referral for breast lump

Been referred to the breast cancer clinic due to a lump etc. It has come through really quickly which is good but does anyone know what the appointment will entail?

GP didn't seem to know and I'd quite like to know what to expect and how long it will take once I get there.

Just a quick update in case anyone is interested. It is a glandular lump caused by hormones (Menopause!!!)

Also recommended evening primrose oil and painkillers (maybe they have shares? )
