Why am I so sick every single morning for 18 years

I am 23, ever since I started school aged around 5 I have felt so sick every single morning. When I was 15 I started to be physically sick every morning. Once I've thrown up I feel better.

When I was pregnant I suffered badly from hyperemesis and then I gave birth and the sickness continued just as it was before I was pregnant.

The doctors don't help. Never have done, I see a different doctor every time and they just tell me to eat something or to sit still until it passes.

My dad also suffers from the sickness too, not as bad as me but every day he will be sick before he goes anywhere.

Anyone have this? I'm sat gagging away as I'm writing this. My daughter is 16 Months now and I feel bad for her having to watch or hear me be sick. It's particularly difficult with Work thinking I'm pregnant every time I do a morning shift.

Another vote for possible lactose intolerance. See if you can get a test, if not reduce dairy intake, but don't stop dairy altogether without being checked as that can actually cause lactose intolerance even if you didn't have it before.

I am not trying to diagnose you but just wondered if you sleep under a feather duvet? My dad used to get this and he realised that he was allergic to the feathers!

OP I'm like this too and my doctors were useless and just said they had no idea an gave me anti sickness tablets which didn't do anything.

It's usually bile with me though, but it's usually most mornings

Something weird though...I'm never sick in the morning if I'm staying at someone else's house?

Have absolutely no idea what causes it though :(

Ds had this it was a chronic sinus problem. Sorted out by the Neilmed sinus wash.

Basically his sinues were creating lots of mucus overnight which was running down the back of his throat. He then needed to clear it in the morning by throwing up.

Could it be this? You might need to see an ENT consultant.

My mum used to have this- for years. When I was growing up I thought she was bulimic. Anyhow, she diagnosed herself in the end. A course of unusual antibiotics cured her in a week. I can't remember what the bacteria she had was called.

I used to feel sick every morning, then realised that it happens when I drink tea on an empty stomach.

This sounds like me. If I don't Eat immediately I start vomiting, almost like too much stomach acid sloshing around

I'm not actually sick and it's not every single day but I will very very often feel sick straight as I get up on a morning and the slightest thing will make me want to throw up. Been like this my whole life as long as I can remember !!

@morespaceneeded was it Helicobacter?

morespaceneeded · 05/05/2018 23:01

It might have been. I'm really not sure and she has dementia so I can't ask her. But truly for years and years I would hear my mum vomiting and I really thought she was bulimic. And one day it just stopped. She announced she knew what it was and was going to tell the doctor. A course of antibiotics and she was never sick like that again. I think she was forced into doing her own research.
