Bleeding between ovulation and period

Has anyone ever experienced brown spotting between ovulation and the start of the period?

I’ve been having this for a few months and it’s atarting to worry me. It usually lasts about 10 days from day 17 or so, and also makes me have a strange feeling in my uterus area, along with sore breasts etc. I am not on birth control. I know I should go to the doctor but I’ve been for irregular bleeding a few years ago and they sent me for a scan (which found no cysts) and then sent me for an examination before dying I ‘may’ have endometriosis but there’s no cure or way to know other than surgery, which won’t cure it anyway. They said I could just take BC and that was that. I didn’t find it very helpful and unsure on what to do about my current problems. In the past BC led to me getting thrush every three weeks so I’m not keen to use us again.

Googling it obviously pulls up some scary results, so has anyone here ever experienced this and what did you do about it?

I’m not sure what BC is but I would advise going back to doctor. It does sound like you’ve had some investigations. How old are you?
I went recently for bleeding around ovulation time.
Was referred. Turned out I had a polyp in womb which may or may not be culprit but needed to be removed. So was worth going.

I get spotting for about a week before my period. Had all sorts of tests done like smears, blood tests and pelvic ultrasounds (all normal). Doctor said it sounded like a progesterone imbalance as that can cause spotting. Had my hormone levels checked and they all seemed fairly normal too. He’s now ran out of ideas and just says it’s something that happens to some women and doesn’t always mean there’s anything wrong.
I’d go to your GP and ask for all the above tests just to put your mind to rest
