I am suffering headaches loads. I wake up with it, my head feels heavy. It's not a pain in a particular place in my head but more like a thumping whenever i move around, the faster i move the more it thumps. Putting my head down is uncomfortable, feeling like very pressured. Does anyone else get these sort of headaches or know what could be the cause. I have seen the doc who prescribed me the pill in case it was hormonal but i haven't taken them because they made me depressed last time. It's really affecting my life feeling yuk all the time..please help

Presumably if your doc has given you the pill he has checked your blood pressure? First of all I would ask if you are drinking enough water as this can give you a terrible headache. Also stress is a big headache cause and also the weather right now can cause headaches - I always get a bad headache before it thunders for instance. Hope you feel better soon

doziduck, I was suffering badly with headaches a couple of months ago, although mine were very much in a specific place in my head. It seems that dehydration was the cause - since then I have really made an effort to drink a litre of water a day and haven't had one since.
I have every sympathy - a constant headache is no fun at all - and hope you get it sorted out soon.

Maybe a sinus thing? Sounds like it. Drinking more water is s good first step but I used to get sinus infections and it sounds like your headache. How long has it been going on?

Sounds like a sinus infection that I had. Cleared up with some antibiotics.
Only other thing that rings a bell with me is maybe you have a trapped nerve or some irritation in your neck, shoulders or back. That can trigger nightmare headaches.
Feel better soon.
