Uterine Polyp removal

Hi I posted about an internal pelvic scan and hysteroscopy after referral from a coloposcopy, and I have had those today. They have discovered a polyp that needs removing. Apparently this will be done under local anaesthetic. He took a biopsy too which he seemed to say was normal procedure. Didn’t seem worried otherwise. Does anyone have experience of this? I don’t know if to allow myself to be completely relieved or still a bit anxious?
Thank you for any replies.

Had this done last month. Biopsy and polyp removal via hysteroscopy but it was done by general anaesthetic not local.

Had this at the beginning of the year. Done under local, it wasn't the most comfortable thing in the world but was soon over. 20 minutes or so then had to stay for an hour.

I had a pilot removed from my cervix. It was painless. Followed by a hysteroscopy with samples taken no anaesthetic. That was painful but bearable.

Thank you for your replies. I was expecting it to be worse today than it was. The cramping was the worst when he did the biopsy. Been three weeks of tension and feels better to have some kind of answer.
