what is at the end of your vagina? Where does it lead? Is it sealed off low down? how do you clean it?

Also how long did recovery take?

any information gratefully received!

thymeout thanks, it wasn't something that was mentioned before the op so I thought it was just me and my bladder had taken a bit of a bruising. I'll keep an eye on it, I have an appt with my gp next week so I'll mention it to him. There's also the post op but that's in May.

I found weeing was quite painful particularly towards the end of the stream. It improved after about 8 weeks though. They move your organs around a lot.

Before my hysterectomy I couldn't walk without wetting myself slightly. If I did any vigorous exercise I had to wear a pad. But since the operation it's vastly improved. My fibroids must have been pressing on my bladder big time.

Tbh getting over the effects of this (day 6 post-op) has been much worse than anything else. I don't know if I've been particularly unlucky?

Also I can't take other people's fussing any longer. I'm going to have a fucking explosion soon if they don't all just fuck off and leave me alone. Like I've got the time for their opinions on top of everything else. I feel like booking into a hotel in a fake name tomorrow.
