What do you do/take?

I really don't want a "head med" - amitripitline pregablin etc. I had an awful reaction to a drug before, citalopram, and I'm scared stiff to try something else.

I can't take propranolol.

Does acupuncture help?

I'm having a dental guard made.

I take paracetamol and nurofen.

I get forehead and temple ache, neck ache, behind the eyes, no sickness or aura but a spacey feeling.

I've seen doctors they say sinuses (doubtful) and stress/anxiety.

It's always worse when due/on my period but happens all month through.

Have you had your eyes tested?
I was getting similar neck/head pains and feeling strange. Turned out I need to wear glasses for computer and reading. I hadn't been aware of vision problems because it had happened so gradually.

Could it be rebound headaches if you are taking paracetamol/ibuprofen often? I had these at one point and had to go cold turkey.

I take topiramate (anti-epileptic), but alternatives I have tried are candesartan and verapamil, which are blood pressure medications. Alternatives to tablets are trigger point injections or an occipital nerve block, which may help as you have neck pain.

I have amitriptyline, naproxen, cocodamol. Jaw splint. Had botox, physio, acupuncture, cbt.

I think they need to find out why you're getting them. Do they think TMJ or are you just getting a splint to see if it works? TMJ is fairly easy to diagnose.
