Cranial osteopathy...is this right?

DS1 has developed an ongoing breathing problem that no one seems to able to diagnose SO I was persuaded by my Mum who's heavily in to these things, to take him to a Cranial Osteopath.

We've used Osteopaths for the children after birth and there was a fair bit of hands on munipulation so that was what I expected.

This lady, however, made no physical contact with DS1 at all....felt to me more like healing! It's also very difficult to get a 3 year old to lie still for 20 mins and relax when there is seemingly nothing happening. She said that he was stressed internally and this may be down to the house move 6 months ago or new nursery or maybe birth trauma but I'd given her the minute detail of his life so I'd told her all these things and I felt a little like she was trying to make something medical in to something emotional IYKWIM. Also didn't particularly like talking about his birth and all the changes in his life with him right there....poor kid understands everything now and surely hearing all of this stuff highlighted is not useful for him.

Advice/experience anyone?

Actually forget that..just spoke to my Mum and it seems the lady is a Craniosacral therapist!

Completely lost now.
