Blood test flagged for high inflammation

Hi, back in November I had several blood tests one of the tests flagged markers for high inflammation, they repeated the test six weeks later and again it’s flagged for inflammation. Doctors called me in and asked if I could think of anything as they needed to get to the bottom of it. Whilst I was in with the gp they took my temp and it was high. I said to the doctor oh I always have a high temperature, he looked back at my previous temperatures and I have had a persistent high temperature every month since July. The doctor was baffled and has order more bloods tests to try and get to the bottom of what it is. Has anybody any suggestions? Back in September I had a bad chest infection and was in hospital twice with chest pains. I had several ecg and chest x rays along with blood work all came backfine. I suffered with chest pain every day and the doctors kept telling me I was fine it was anxiety. I still suffer with chest pain but not as much since I take medication for anxiety but when I mentioned it to doctor he didn’t seem to concerned that it was related. Any advice or opinions.

I have absolutely no clue, but I'd suggest you get a thermometer, a notebook and a pen, and use the book as a diary. For each day, write down your temperature and any symptoms you may have (and time) on the left hand side, and write down what you eat and drink on the right hand side, and if you exercise. If you are having a lot of highly processed food and junk food, you might want to go over that. Go back to the doctor with the diary and discuss.

Maybe it's "Costochondritis" ? I googled the symptoms...

Get your GP to do an autoimmune screen
