Dd1 has to have 2 fillings and I feel really guilty

Frequency of snacks/drinks is key. This is where eating between meals is a real pain, as even fruit will have some sugar content.

Switching to milk/water had quite an impact for ds1 and ds2. Nothing to eat or drink bar water after bedtime toothbrushing.

My dentist told me a couple of years ago to NEVER give anything but milk and water. I used to occasionally give very diluted apple juice which, according to him, was virtually a punishable offence. They just have water now - apart from parties - and really don't seem bothered at all.

my two girls are going into hospital to have a filling under a general, i feel bad about it, but we have done the best we could autism and toothbrushing do not go together to well. the SN dentist remarked that DD has very strong jaw muscles
