Guess I'm just looking for a bit more information, I've bee back and forth to the doctors for a while now with a range of different symptoms. So far the doctors have been no help, tried a range of pain relief but have done no investigations. Only 1 has mentioned possible endo but I've still not heard about any tests etc being done.

Symptoms are:
Stomach cramps
Back pain
Persistent tiredness
Headaches
Prone to uti and kidney infections.
Kidney pain
Lower tummy pain(constant)
Pain when needing the toilet which usually passes shortly after I've been.
I'm currently on depo injection but have started to get bleeding in between shots. I've never experienced this.

Just looking for anyone who has been in a similar position that may have any information as apart from what I have read I'm unsure of exactly what endometriosis is

Thanks

Endometriosis U.K. has a good website for more info.

Like many gynae issues it is chronically under-diagnosed.

Your symptoms could be endo but could be other things as well. I have it but was not a typical case - I had pain all the time (cyclic pain is more common) and my periods were not massively heavy. Pelvic pain when wee-ing and horrendous back pain at the end of a period were two of my symptoms. I was on the pill and it masked my symptoms for a long time.

Have you had any tests at all? I couldn't get a diagnosis on the NHS - and that was 15 years ago. I imagine it's harder now. When I moved abroad and was finally taken seriously they wanted to exclude bowel issues first as I was in pain all the time. I had a clear CT with contrast and an MRI before being diagnosed and treated via laparoscopy. Most endometriosis won't show on a scan so surgery is needed for diagnosis.
