Feeling a bit strange ...

I'm not quite sure how to word this properly, so I'm just going to come out with it so it might seem a bit garbled ..! For a couple of months now I've been feeling quite dizzy for no apparent reason. I've also been getting what can only been described as a dull ache (like someone's "gripping" my insides) in the left side of my chest, underneath my boob. I saw the doctor about it a couple of months ago and she sent me off for a blood test and said it was most likely to be stress (DH had just been diagnosed with night epilepsy). So I've carried on as normal putting it all down to stress.

I don't feel particularly stressed at the moment at all, but the dizziness seems to be getting a bit worse, plus the ache in my chest is still there, and I've now started getting a tingling (like very mild pins and needles) in my hands/ fingers. I went back to the doctor last week and she sent me for an ECG, which all seems OK. I was wondering if anyone might know - does this sound like something stress-related? I've got the doctors again this week to discuss the ECG and see what happens from there. I know probably no-one will know the answer but I'm getting a bit paranoid that something's really wrong with me!

sorry, unable to help, but wanted to acknowledge you. Good luck at the doctors, I'm sure you will be fine, I think stress can manifest itself in many different ways, if the doctors have suggested this, them I'm sure thats a strong contender for diagnosis

Looks very much like stress or a panic attack (presumably your ECG and other bloods are fine).

Your GP should be able to recommend relaxation breathing, to counteract any urge to hyperventilate (which makes the tingling in your fingers worse).

Good Luck !
