Weight loss without trying - cause for concern?

I know some of you may think loosing weight without trying would be wonderful - but...

Since having DS2 I have lost a fair bit of weight, going from about 11 and a half st (size 14-16) to 10st - 10st 2 (size 10-12)
I am not trying to loose weight and eating pretty much as I usually would.
DS2 is 8mths and DS1 is 2yrs2mths.

I'm now regularly weighing myself to make sure I don't loose any more.
How concerned should I be, my Mum mentioned thyroid problems but could it really be that or something else?

get thee to the docs for order some blood tests.

Go to your GP. I read in the papers on Sunday that Kate Garraway lost loads of weight due to an underactive thyroid. It is apparantly quite common after pregnancy.

are you bf? this can be the cause of weight loss.go to gp and get a blood test though as could be something else.

go and get your thyroid checked asap. actually it's overactive not underactive that will make you lose weight quickly and it's very common after having a baby.

I am still bfing.
Its an obvious weight loss too, the amount of people saying 'ooooh you've lost a lot' must mean something's not right.
