Poo Particles

I'm sorry but I have to ask... I have noticed quite a few people on MN being concerned about poo particles / poo gratings - when and where are they present and how do you avoid them? Also, is this a scientific thing? Or just OCD? Hmm

Poo gratings? Confused

Hidingtonothing · 27/12/2017 23:24

Poo crumbs OP, little flakes of poo created by wiping with dry tissue and found on toilet seats (or on one memorable thread on bedsheets Envy (not envy)) by horrified MN'ers. Can be avoided by not living (or otherwise sharing a toilet) with filthy men people who don't clean up after themselves Smile

Hidingtonothing · 27/12/2017 23:27

Ah, or do you mean the concept of flying poo particles when flushing the toilet? Have seen threads on both so not sure which you mean now? Flying poo particles are easily avoided by closing the toilet lid before you flush.

Mrsmadevans · 28/12/2017 08:50

Always close the toilet lid since seeing THAT on the TV ....just yuk the thought of the pooh shavings ....urggghhhh

The human body has evolved to cope quite well with exposure to human bacteria, and provided you are taking the usual precautions of washing your hands, home, sheets, towels at sensible frequency, you have nothing to fear.

What a lovely thread!

BattleCuntGalactica · 28/12/2017 16:09

Oh god it never ends

BattleCuntGalactica · 28/12/2017 16:10

Also

Flying Poo Particles is totally a valid name for a new grunge band.

CharlieSierra · 28/12/2017 16:22

And how do you ensure your guests close the lid. That is literally my biggest nightmare.

Are you actually serious? If so you need help, preferably before life throws something genuinely difficult at you.

MollyHuaCha · 28/12/2017 17:14

Some public toilets don't even have lids.

Pootopia

Indigo911 · 28/12/2017 17:17

We have probably all had poo particles from other people on us multiple times and have survived to tell the tale

MollyHuaCha · 28/12/2017 17:47

MN just loves poo topics.

SmiledWithTheRisingSun · 28/12/2017 22:46

I realise it's not the most lovely topic.
Just wanted to get my head around what the exact issue is here in case it's something I should start worrying about . Keep reading different threads about PP etc.

When and WHAT exactly was on the telly??? Shock
