Constantly worrying about my health :(

I used to be really relaxed about everything health wise.

Then about 4 years ago I had an abnormal smear, CIN 3 results. Follow up colposcopy revealed a few abnormal cells so had a LLETZ procedure. My next smear 6 months later was clear, and I was HPV clear so was put back on 3 yearly smears.

Had my next smear in May this year which was also clear, but I can't get it out of my head that there's something wrong with me 😞.

In the last 6 months, I've had a tiny bit of brown spotting after sex, just on the first wipe then nothing else. Each time its happened it's around a week before my period is due. I've also had the odd mild stomach ache for about half an hour after sex, usually after slightly rougher/deeper sex. Yet I've convinced myself there must be something really wrong.

Then other times I think to myself 'maybe I've got ovarian cancer' and spend ages googling symptoms... which I have none of, bar the very mild post sex stomach ache occasionally. Ahh help me! I'm driving myself mad 😞

I muddled that middle paragraph a bit. Meant to put I've had a tiny bit of brown spotting 3 times after sex, in the last 6 months. Also the occasional stomach pain has only happened a handful of times.

I totally get where you are coming from re anxiety over your health, I had similar two years ago and now I'm on three yearly too.

I would talk to your GP about your spotting, it could be something like a cervical erosion that can cause bleeding. I'm sure a quick examination would reassure you.
