Ashton's Teetha - it is almost too effective

After one truly dreadful night, my husband picked up some of this product from Boots to try out. We weren't expecting great things as it is homeoptahic and therefore namby pamby (!) however, we have found that it has an almost immediate effect (about a minute) in calming my teething little angel down when she wakes in the night, clearly in pain. But now i'm thinking, what on earth is in it??? The ingredients list looks pretty innocuous, camomile is the main constituent. would this be enough to send her off to sleep so quickly? i'm not joking it really is 1) empty sachet in open crying mouth 2) watch for a few seconds as she sticks her toungue in and out a few times 3) insert dummy 4) watch her turn over and drop off.
we had had no joy at all with the teething gel and products like medised were almost impossible to get inside her, but this stuff is like a miracle cure. i'd just like someone to tell me that there's nothing nasty in there and it really is totally harmless. it's just too blummen good!

I've used Nelson's Teetha - are we talking about the same product? Anyway, I find it works, too, although I have to say I have wondered if the sensation of having powder in her mouth distracts dd from pain?

yup sorry, getting confused as i had to do a search to find the best area to post this thread and came across another product made by ashtons. it is the same stuff. it's just totally mad that it works so quickly, when i find she's pretty resistant to calpol etc. that others swear by......
