I just don't seem to be getting any better. Should I finally go and see the gp? I feel like I'd be wasting her time but it's really starting to get me down 😕

Polly just proves how dangerous it is to ask advice on the internet regarding illnesses.

OP in your shoes I would get your GP to check you over.

The @ symbol works on Mumsnet to alert the person they have been mentioned in a post. You're welcome.

I too had whooping cough, known in China as the 100 day cough, it lasted pretty much exactly 100 days. By the time you go to the gp it can't be detected with a blood test. It doesn't sound 'whoopy' in a adultwww.whoopingcough.net/symptoms.htm
Another thing to be aware of is a blood clot in the lung.
I'd suggest going to your gp
