Blistery rash on breast, looked like an allergic reaction but now it has crusted

What do you think? Do I need to see a dr?

It came and went for a few days, it looked like the mark around when I had an infected mozzie bite, then in the last couple of days it seems to have "popped" and gone scabby.

My whole boob in general is also itchy (though not where the scabby bit is, more around the side) and there is one particular place that is really sore (on the side, under my armpit), but I'd written that off as being bra related/hormonal until I got really paranoid this morning...

I hope so - I just knocked the scab off in the shower 😬

I would go see docs to get checked and be on safe side!

I need to see her for something else anyway, so I'll still go :)

Done :) she says it looks like it may be shingles (amongst many other possible things) but it appears to be clearing up now, so to keep an eye on it and go back if it changes.

She said where the pain is seems to be following along the nerve which would point at shingles too. Temp is up a smidge which might point at being on the recovering end of something. Lymph glands, throat, chest and sats are all fine. Only slight concern is my heart rate which was up to 130, but she said to keep an eye on it with my Fitbit as it may be nerves.

Glad you're sorted. It'll be gone before you know it.

Hey, so I'm back...

Rash is still coming and going, gonna show a few pictures and see what mn experts think...
First one from a month ago, second one from last night. Third one is this morning to demonstrate that it is actually disappearing between pictures (it hasn't fully gone yet, but has been doing so)

Do you think this is enough of a change to make another appt? I didn't really notice til I compared pictures, but I think it's getting bigger?

I would get it checked out again- it's quite unusual. That said, skin is funny stuff. Have you tried going braless for a few days? I find I can get away with it in a big loose jumper!

It's possible that area is just oversensitised now, and reacts to everything.

I've had a few PJ days this week pickle, so I've been braless. My first thought when it appeared back in November was that it was from a bra, so I've been going braless as much as possible just in case.

Also lol at skin being funny stuff - tell me about it! Grin I have EDS, allergic eczema and psoriasis (thanks mn btw, I've just been picked for a new emollient trial - let's see if that helps), as well as randomly having allergic reactions to tattoo ink. I'm very used to my skin doing weird things Grin

(Hence why I'm not panicking as much as I might about something else! 😂)

I did notice a marvellous looking tattoo... my skin reacts when I get my nails done- when I scratch I leave welts. I swear skin just decides to play up. It's very mind over matter. I hope the new cream works.

Thank you for the tattoo compliment! It's the pink ink on my arm that I seem to have trouble with - but it only happens when it's been in the sun. Weird skin. DH has the kind of skin that leaves welts any time you touch it too, so it often looks like I have attacked him 😬

On wondering about it being an allergy to something, now it's spring I'm back on my daily antihistamines, so if it is that it should hopefully start to disappear soon...

I have one just like it but I am only 16. at first I thought it was just a bug bite that got scraped by my bra.
