Hi Kitty, didn't want to leave this unanswered. I'm sorry I don't have any bright ideas about what may be wrong but you must be really worried. Is it sore? could it just be a build up of scar tissue? Good luck for tomorrow.........

kittypants · 18/04/2007 15:55

thanks.yes it is sore.i feel like ds should be weeks old not 16 months if scar is anything to go by!

Hi there, I'm so sorry but I can't think what may be causing this for you apart from some kind of build up of scar tissue, it doesn't seem likely that you have an infection after all this time. I would be very careful lifting your kids until you know what it is. Not very helpful I know but hopefully your GP will be able to put your mind at rest tomorrow. It must be very uncomfortable, I know I was very sore after my section. Let me know how you get on xx

vikster35 thanks im just panicking,i know youre right gp will hopefully have some answers!im trying to be careful but doesnt always work does it

Yes easier said than done!!! and the little devils get heavier don't they! Try not to worry - you will have some idea of what is causing the pain tomorrow. Take care xx

vikster35 · 19/04/2007 14:00

How did you get on?

kittypants · 19/04/2007 21:21

aaww thanks for asking.i got distracted as appointment was for dd and ds2 also.dd has some kind of hearing problem and needs a test next week, think she may need gromets.ds2(16 months)apparently has ezcema-which i guessd and possibly asthma!so i forgot about me!theve both got to go back next week so i'll wait till them, one more week of being careful will be ok!

Sounds like you have your hands full! If it's any help my brother had really bad asthma when he was little and I had pretty bad ezcema - both now completely grown out of it. Don't know much about gromets I'm afraid....... Make sure you take care of yourself as well!!! x

kittypants · 19/04/2007 21:35

glad to hear you both grew out of it.my older(6 today)ds has ezcema and theres history on both sides of family of asthma and eczema.gp said if it does turn out to be asthma then most children grow out of it.

It does seem to run in families, all my cousins have had one or the other as well and have all grown out of it. x

thankyou

saw gp today,he said after watching me with children for 10 minutes its no wonder!he said its scar tissue x 3 so its normal but as children get older and do more for themselves should help.and put feet up-when do you have time to put feet up with 3 children?
