is it always bad? if worse than usual it can be a sign of infection. have you asked the doc?

tiktok · 14/04/2007 14:19

Could be tonsillitis or adenoids, chacha - get doc to check.

someone posted about this a few weeks ago and turned out to be an infection from something lodged in the child;s nose IIRC!!

sandcastles · 14/04/2007 15:21

You could try brushing her tongue, lost of bacteria are present on the tounge.

Do you use a childs toothpaste? Id so it may be that she now needs something a little stronger. Boots do a great Applemint toothpaste for 6+, but at 5, she will be fine with it if you ony use a little.

There could be probs with tonsils, or tummy upset. Also, she doesn't have a tendency to put things up her nose, does she? Check there is nothing stuck up there.

my son has chronic sinusitis which makes his breath smell. Apparently it is very difficult to diagnose in children as it doesn't have the classic symptoms of adults .
