as in sitting in a warm bath with a liberal bicarb of soda sprinkling

IntergalacticWalrus · 10/04/2007 18:56

at haloumi

Iota · 10/04/2007 18:56

maybe as a placebo - but every little helps

Twiglett · 10/04/2007 18:58

its funny how the scratching makes it hurt as well as itch giving zero relief in the process isn't it?

Tea tree oil would work - just five drops or so in the water.

Also a clove of garlic shoved up your fanjo - some people wrap in muslin first as it can sting a bit.

I find a very cold cool washcloth (wet it, then put in the freezer for a bit) helps to soothe any, erm, inflamed areas.

Twiglett · 10/04/2007 19:05

see? now THAT was a helpful post

thanks yesireallycan I'm sure we have tea tree oil somewhere

diluted plain vinegar, luv.

Natural yoghurt with a few drops of lavender oil in is the best thing methinks, but the lavender oil on its own, in a coolish bath, might help a bit.
