probably my DD1 is constantly sick with something or other and she is 15mths. Ds was never this sick.

I think so. None of mine really ever get tummy bugs - even as babies they were very, very rarely sick and we don't deal with sick very often at all even now.

Children they go to school and nursery with seem to pick up anything going.

I think people have an area prone to illness. As a family we rarely get stomach upsets (frantically touches wood!), but we get any sore throat/cold/cough going. My throat is my dodgy area - had tonsilitis 18 times when I was little

I think it must be true cause dd1 (7) has had 2 sickness bugs in her life

dd2 (2) has had one

all dd1's friends seem to be off from school at least once every two weeks with a tummy bug

must admit I'm sooooo glad cause as an emetophobe your children having a sickness bug is living hell

FrannyandZooey · 10/04/2007 11:59

I presume some are more prone, yes

some adults are, I think

ds has never been sick with a tummy bug, ever (aged 4)

am aware he will now probably spend next 3 weeks vomiting
