Persistent pins and needles (and recently heavy bleeding)

Firstly, I understand no one can diagnose me over the Internet. Secondly, it's going to be a bit of a long one as I don't want to drip feed!
For the last 2 years and a bit years I have suffered with pins and needles. It used to be subtler and accompanied by migraine around the right eye. I was diagnosed with Cluster Headaches and it lasted around 3 months and then disappeared. The pins and needles have never gone and in the last 2 months have got worse.
I have them near enough constantly and the heels of my feet are very uncomfortable, I'm constantly trying to move to relieve the feeling.
I had a coccyx injury in April that I didn't get checked out as i didn't see much point although my coccyx does still hurt (which I know is very normal)
Then 3 weeks ago I had a coil fitted and posted on Mumsnet as I was bleeding a lot. I went to A&E and they were pretty happy that it was just a heavy first period after a coil had been fitted and prescribed me iron and advised to rest.
The bleeding stopped for about 2 days and has started up again, heavy again. I'm leaking through pads a lot. DP just said 'do you think they could be related issues?' And it was honestly the first time it had crossed my mind.
I don't want to look a hypochondriac in the GP, and really don't have time to waste and feel so guilty wasting their time. Has anyone had similar? Should I be getting checked out sooner or just wait for it all to pass and they are unlikely to be related?

You really need to get back to the GP re ongoing pins and needles. It can be a number I things, some very serious. Please go back and be insistent until it is resolved. I have have crawling sensations for a number of years, turned out to be hypothyroidism. Could be B12 deficiency. Could be brain issues, MS. Do you have other symptoms?

My pins and needles (and numb toes) turned out to be a B12 deficiency. If you haven't already had this tested, ask for it. Of course the pins and needles could be related to many things, but definitely keep pushing to get a diagnosis.

My pins & needles and numb toes turned out to be transverse myelitis - a not very pleasant condition. You need to see a doctor & get it sorted
