This is such an important health issue - there's a reason why OC is called the 'silent killer'. I really want more women to be aware of what few symptoms there are (I wasn't).

This is my story. I hope it's a long one.

Your stoic realism reminds me a lot of my late mother. I think that how you fare in adversity says a lot about your character and your cheerful eloquence suggests you have oodles of resilience.

I hope to read your posts for quite some time to come!

very angry with nurse who deliberately misled me on sleepIng tablets and then gave me 1 diazepam. To cou nteract 12 steroids

TQ, I’m just really glad to see you well enough to get very angry.

I can’t think of a solution to the problem except to wait for a shift change and discuss with the nurse in charge. Or present it as a new problem and ask what might counteract the steroids so you can get some sleep, and see if someone else offers something different. Take care, you lovely woman.

Ask for more. They often do give more medication if you hassle them.

Keep on trucking TQ! I hope you managed to get some kip last night, goodness knows it’s hard enough in hospital when they do obs every 20 minutes without steroids as well. You sound on good form x
