Apart from going to my GP? I don't want to make a fuss about nothing but they're weird.
Started in July. I've had 3 or 4 since then and I've had them on and off all day today.
They're so hard to describe. I feel off kilter rather than dizzy. And spaced out as in feeling as if I have to concentrate hard to stay present and focused. Also today I noticed I was leaving a long time before breathing in sometimes. I thought it might be stress but I don't feel stressed today or on one of the other ocassions. There's no rapid breathing or heart rate but it does feel as if there might be something chemical going on. Oh and nasty neckache and upper back pain today.

I've had something similar lately. My main symptom is feeling really spaced out and detached, sort of giddy. The GP described in as vertigo, and thinks it's a type of migraine. I think mine are cyclical, happening a day or two before I get my period - could this be the case with you? It's really odd and disconcerting, I feel quite horrible and struggle to look after the kids (and then they go as quickly as they come, after a day or so).

Sorry you're having 'turns' too.
I wondered about vertigo but I don't really feel dizzy as such. I don't think mine would be related to cycles as my last set were a week apart. I've had a hysterectomy but still get ovulation pain sometimes. I don't track my cycles though.
It does feel horrible, as you say.

It's not what they used to call petit meal is it? Like mild epileptic episodes.

EezerGoode · 21/09/2017 21:56

Could you be dehydrated? I can get a bit like you describe if I've not drunk enough water

picklemepopcorn · 21/09/2017 22:01

My migraines started like this. First I'd feel weird and detached all day. Later it progressed and then I'd vomit. About a year in the headache kicked in.

CanIBuffalo · 21/09/2017 22:10

Not 'absences' her but I have to focus hard to keep functioning.
Not dehydration either.
I don't know about migraines pickle but the full blown sort are definitely in the family.
I reckon I'll need to go to the GP.

Keep an eye on your vision. For me it was feeling weird, one eye felt like it wasn't working but was, vomit, headache, over the course of about a year.

Will do. Feeling strange again today but I'm just going to have to ignore it.

Actually, I've felt strange like this recently and thought it was medication. I'd forgotten my old migraine symptoms. Caffeine always helps me. I'm usually caffeine free, sadly!

I had this, diagnosed with SVT (Supraventricular tachycardia)
Which basically means my heart went into random fast rhythms every now and again causing these symptoms.
Luckily it seems to have gone away now!

CanIBuffalo · 22/09/2017 19:10

Glad that went away muttmad. Sounds serious.
