Surely I shouldn't sweat like this?

I've never had problems with sweating in the past, but I am constantly sweating! Annoying this is it's my face and head that sweats the most my hair feels constantly wet and if I can manage to get make up on it just runs! Its embarrassing because people can see it!
I turned 30 in April this year and had my first baby in February this year and all this seems to be since I've had my baby!
I've mentioned it to a health professional in passing and just got told it's normal hormones setting down after the baby but does it take this long?
Starting to worry I've started menopause or something!!!!

Make an appointment to see your GP pink.

I remember a period of excess sweating following both my dc, but it only lasted about a week. As far as I'm aware, it's not normal this far down the line.

I have the exact same problem. Was at church last night and could feel the sweat running right down my back.
I'm not menopausal though. So I'll be interested to see if anyone else has an answer for it.

The only time I've had sweating that was literally running off me was when my thyroid was over active. MIght be worth asking for blood tests ?

I could have written this thread myself! I suffer from awful sweating too, mostly on my face and hair line. It's definitely worse after having DD 6 months ago but GP said there's not much they can do.

I started using Driclor roll-on (can buy from Boots) every night and sweating has definitely settled down.

Hope this helps Smile

I'm a sweater too. Have been since DS was born 4 years ago. I need to lose weight which contributes to it, but I'm literally covered all the time. It's my head and face too and it's so embarrassing!

Thank you certainly given me something to think about glad I'm not alone on this one
I've had blood test recently for a few problems and thyroid was fine might go back anyway as I've just generally run down
I'll have a look into that roll on too 😊

Odaban works brilliantly for the face and scalp. It stings a bit when you first start using it but it's worth it. I'm so grateful to the poster who mentioned it a couple of years ago.

Yep, same with me since having DD almost five years ago.

My face is the worst and I constantly look shiny because of it.

GP seemed to think it was just an unfortunate after effect of childbirth Hmm

I think it must be the weather,as the same has been happening to me, mainly face and forehead, and i havent had a baby im a lot older, and not usually a sweater
