Vagina smells of burnt rubber

I've noticed a strong heavy vaginal odour that smells like burnt rubber. I've no pain or discharge or itching. Just the smell.
It's not there all the time, but it not pleasant when it is!!

Anybody any ideas?

Thanks to everyone who gave their insight and shared their experience..it’s helped me narrow down what my own root cause may be.

I wanted to note the mentions of washing down south, and add to it by saying only to wash the vulva! Never inside the vagina! It does not need to be washed with any soap (mild or vagina-friendly) whatsoever. The vulva would need a vagina-friendly or mild soap because of sweat and urine, but the vagina cleans itself. Granted, I do a lite rinse with water but never actually wash inside of it.
