Can anyone recommend an endocrinologist or an immunologist in London area - desperate to stop being ill all the time!

Backstory - I am hypothyroid but it's managed ok and latest levels are ok.

But I am literally always ill. Any cold turns into an embedded infection. I have had three weeks off work already this year with bronchitis, sinusitis and now sinusitis again and I suspect a chest infection again. I miss out on so much because I just go down so heavily with these things that in anyone else would just be a cold. They always start as a cold and then develop into at least a week of really being unable to function at all and then the inevitable two weeks of post viral awfulness.

I saw an immunologist earlier this year who found nothing wrong although he did say that some people have an immune system which is slow to react but a) it's expensive to diagnose and b) you can't do anything about it anyway.

But here I am, ill again - really ill as in struggling to get up, overwhelmingly exhausted, hacking up disgustingness all day and all night. So I've done some googling and discovered that a thyroid condition like mine can be linked to lower immunity for a whole range of reasons. This wasn't mentioned in the meeting with the immunologist which is a bit annoying. I think I want to explore this a bit more.

Can anyone recommend anyone or even a more general doctor who can take a more holistic overview of what's going wrong. I have been like this for years and it's more than just bad luck - it's actually quite ridiculous. At this point I am prepared to try (almost) anything.

Actually reading your post again that feeling rings a bell. After d's was born (he's 22 now). I was ill for nearly three years. Nothing too traumatic but: sinusitis, tonsillitis, laryngitis, chest infections, constant coughs, influenza ad nauseam. Endless antibiotics. (I'm also hypofhyroid). When I was of with dd, after being ill with various viruses for four months and several courses of amoxicillin, I got pleurisy. I was admitted to hosp and had a broad spectrum iv for 5 days then 2-3 days bed rest. I turned the corner immediately. Am convinced there was a low level infection somewhere that just kept recurring in a non specific way. As soon as I had those abs I was well again. Never been ill like that since.

i have an unknown immune disorder- many tests but no diagnosis
ive been treated by co amoxiclav as and when i need them at a much lower threshold than gps give out
i have a box in my bag at all times as i get suddenly ill and need to nip an infection in the bud very quickly
ive had 6 infections since january , he will review in jan and maybe change to taking antibiotics everyday as a preventive if ive had over a certain number of infections.
most of my infections are chronic so causing scarring - right ear & roof of my mouth .
i had no hib immunity at all so that had to be redone .

Thanks so much for all comments. Most of my bloods are ok and those I'm borderline in I do supplement (vit D and B).

I spoke to my GP yesterday (only on phone as that was all I could get) and she's sending me back to the immunologist but at the time I thought I was on the mend if very very slowly so we agreed no antibiotics.

But this morning (day 10 of being really ill) I was so much worse again - can barely stand with exhaustion, totally congested and hacking hacking cough. So I went to a private GP this morning and got antibiotics. He actually told me off for not getting treatment earlier - and he thinks I need to go down the ENT route in case there's some chronic or structural cause for all these infections.

So I'm going to explore that as well as the endocrinologist to see if there's a thyroid link. I actually cried this morning with frustration at being so ill again. But hoping the drugs will start to kick in now...
