Hi I've just had this confirmed by a Dr and been referred to a physio but she was not hopeful that anything besides surgery would make much difference. Does anyone have any experience of this and find anything making an impact? Thank you

I had a small one for many years. It was hugely helped by physio but I saw a specialist physio.

MuTu System www.mutusystem.com really helped mine. It's an online exercise program designed to help core/pelvic floor problems.

Oh ok was it a women's health physio? Do you feel happy with how it is now? If you don't mind me asking.

Hi! Yes there is loads of hope...it's hard work as you need to change your breathing pattern . Put sarah duvall into YouTube and watch her videos on it. You can buy online programmes too but that's a good start. She is a physio

It wasn't a big gap but I only found out it hadn't sorted itself out when first child was about 4! Didn't get it sorted until after DC2. Had back problems as a result too.
It's fine now. Took a short while to knit but then of course I had absolutely bugger all core. It's been a slow process but gets better and better. Definitely worth seeing a specialist physio. Simple and easy to do exercises for me were the trick!

Ah that's great news! Thanks for your replies. I hope I will stop obsessively looking at other mum's stomachs soon ConfusedBlush
