I have a bladder problem

I'm 26, no children. Always had a small bladder (not much control and need to pee QUICK when I do need to) but I've recently noticed something else

When I've been for a wee I then dribble a bit once I've wiped/washed hands and started walking again. It doesn't happen every time but when it does it's awful because I have no control over it at all - it just kind of leaks out. I feel having been to the loo that my bladder is empty until I start moving (normally walking) and more comes

I'll go to the drs next week (am off work) but I don't know how they're going to help as it doesn't happen every time?

Just deeply embarrassed myself with pee dropping down my legs in Sainsbury's Sad

When you have a wee try doing it with your feet on a small step. When finished, wait a minute or two. Lean forward and squeeze again.

Going to the gp is a good idea, don't be embarrassed.

They can refer you for a bladdder ultrasound to see how well you're emptying your bladder. Maybe even urodynamics.

Thank you, I'll try that. Not sure how I'd do it in public though? I'm considering doing a wiggle in the cubicle before I leave Blushto make sure I'm 'done' but it's one of those things I totally forget about until it's happened

I'm only 26 fgs I shouldn't be pissing myself in Sainsbury's Sad

At least try the leaning forward thing if you don't have a step when out.

No you shouldn't be pissing yourself at 26 but it should be sortable, just need to figure out what the cause is. Good luck.

My GP said that when I've finished peeing, I should lean backwards and lift my legs slightly - she even demonstrated for me (on chair - not loo!). Works a treat 😀

Agree with Time, I've got bladder problems (IC and possible fibrotic bladder with meatal/urethral stenosis) . GP has said same as Time , shift position after peeing before standing, or sit for longer with a book or something :)
