Any dentists about? Tooth injury - does this need to be seen?

Dd3 was chewing a sweet and she says her tooth hurt a bit, then there was 'some white hard stuff' mixed with the sweet on her finger. Now one of her upper back teeth is bleeding. Will this heal itself, or do I need to take her to a dentist?

She's probably broken her tooth. See a dentist. Don't leave it, you don't want her to get toothache.

Thanks for replying. NHS 111 have said that as it has clotted and there are no sharp pieces and she's not in pain, we can see a dentist within the next 5 working days. So we'll phone our dental practice on Tuesday.

Just tell her not to chew on it in the meantime. She gets any food in there it will hurt like a bugger.
