One for the medics...what might these weird, one-sided complaints mean??

So, I have a random set of problems, all predominantly on my left side...

Inflamed skin under eye (rashy, spotty but not sore)
Similar patch on face, just above left side of my mouth
Infected ear piercing on one side, yep...the left
Terrible, recurrent thrush...noticeably more troubling on the left side.

Anyone have any issues or suggestions?

Thanks

I would suspect the fact that they're all on the left is probably a coincidence. Just having the whole sat means to me that you're a bit run down, although that could be having got a virus or just tired.

Dd2 is smaller throughout on her left side. Her left arm didn't form properly so stops before the wrist, her left ear is noticeably smaller, her left foot half a side smaller, her left eye socket is slightly smaller. Conclusion of the consultant was that it was interesting, but probably just a fluke-but it would be interesting to look at further perhaps.

Thanks witch. Truth of the matter is I'm exhausted, so that may we'll be a factor. Just seems that they are all infection / bacteria issues made me wonder.

Will book GP appointment as look as crap as I feel which is not good 😂

Which side do you tend to lie/sleep on? Could it be irritation from the pillow/water from your eye causing skin irritation, and that side getting hotter/clammy at night causing thrush and the infected earlobe?? Otherwise I can't see a reason for a left sided issue.

I tend to get one sided stuff too - all quite minor and random but probably connected in some mysterious way! Like one side of my body was some how weaker and more susceptible. I used to see a Chinese doctor & acupuncturist and was quite (note the 'was') well informed on that approach to medicine and the body, the one-sided stuff would have some explanations in that respect. That said, given you're suffering thrush and rashes it sounds a bit fungal. You might want to assess your diet, try a good probiotic and some gentle antifungal herbs/supplements. For weird persistent rashes I've used grapefruit seed extract ('citricidal') with success and a good calendula cream.
