Desperate daughter

My 22 year old daughter has suddenly started needing to wee every 30 mins day and night. This has been going on for around 3 weeks. She is hardly sleeping and hardly eating. Has had 3 different lots of antibiotics, none of which made any difference, and last two urine tests showed no infection present. She is going mad with it and, after much googling, is convinced she will always be like this, and her life is ruined. Please, please tell me if you have any suggestions. Thank you.

She needs to go back to the GP. There are things they can prescribe for an over sensitive bladder.

Has she got any other symptoms? Is she unusually thirsty, tired or losing weight? I would think that if the doctors have dipped her urine for infection, they would have noticed if it was positive for glucose, but if she does have those symptoms, then diabetes would be a consideration.

I just had two LARGE kidney stones removed. They were growing for at least a year. Looking back, I had my only UTI about a year ago. At the time I took a lot of vitamin C and didn't drink enough water. Other types can be caused by soda drinkers, or tea drinkers and even leafy greens can contribute. I'm not suggesting she has kidney stones, but she needs to see a urologist to find out what's going on.

Difficult question, but has she had any history of drug abuse that you know of? Ketamine abuse can cause this - as could other things too, but wanted to throw it out there as its not well known.

Thank you for suggestions. She is seeing urologist next week. She's not a drug user.
