Mi little one is very very very snooty thus i am wiping her face every few minutes.
Can anyone suggest suitable wet wipes for face?

Had a vision of a little baby turning her nose up haughtily at puree / fruitshoots/ non-boden clothes, adn needing to be rigorously wiped down!

I wouldn't use wipes on her face, but only because i'm always a bit paranoid about the wierdy chemicals, i just use a bit of dampened kitchen roll or a muslin that i think stick in the wash at the end of the day.

I generally just use tissues (or even good quality toilet roll (that has never sat next to the toilet obviously)), but with a wet wipe ocassionally (normal non fragranced babywipes I confess).

I always think that if you wipe with wet wipes of any kind too much then the skin will become sore as it never gets chance to dry properly. HTH

ultrabalm type tissues perhaps?

agree wiping wet snot with wet wipe will only make everything, well, wetter

I know - was all ready to recommend unscented organic biodegradable types, warming on radiator, muslins dipped in camomile tea etc etc and had to change tack swiftly!

UnquietDad · 28/03/2007 16:23

"Euuuuugh, MOTHER, is that high-chair from IKEA? Couldn't you have at least gone to John Lewis? And that food can't be organic. Oh, PLEASE say you didn't go to MORRISON'S...." etc.

What's wrong with toilet tissue that's been next to the toilet?

chirpygirl · 28/03/2007 16:28

I have a fleece blanket cut up that I use for wwipes, run one fo these under a tap and tada, a skin friendly wet wipe!

(and I know it is very childish to laugh at spelling, but your thread title cracked me up)

star1976 · 28/03/2007 16:28

In my opinion nothing but I am a childminder and Ofsted even frown on us using the inside of toilet rolls for making things cause they were in the bathroom!!!

GinaVauxhall · 28/03/2007 16:29

I could tell you hundreds of other funny ones I had with my spelling and pronunciation but this will be another time!

I agree that a lightly damp tissue will be the best option!

Many thanks! xx
