Organic teeth whitening - advice needed

Hi,

I hate how discoloured my teeth have become over the years. I looked into getting them whitened but of course, because it's a cosmetic problem it isn't covered on the NHS. And I really can't afford private care right now. So I've been looking into home remedies (yes, risky I know).

I don't feel like the baking soda and lemon method is safe, the NHS advises against self treatment packs because of the damage they could do to your gums but I have found this on Amazon:
Teeth Whitening Charcoal https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B071SKQ8G3/ref=cmswwrcppapi_2TpHzbM16RVGA

It has glowing reviews but sometimes that makes me even more suspicious. Had anyone used this? Is it good? Is there something else I should be looking at?

Thanks for reading!

Hmm good luck.

No idea why the face but I'm sure I'll learn something valuable from it Hmm

As far as I can tell the charcoal is good. It's relatively non abrasive, doesn't eat enamel and does whiten. Just use a soft brush. Ime it works - all be it a bit slower than bleach. But also leaves teeth fairly unharmed.

On balance, if it matters to you, I'd recommend above anything else.

I have two crowns in the front of my mouth and no whitening works on them so I just live with my natural colour now!

But once a week I do brush with a bit of baking soda on top of the toothpaste. Seems to work (especially after red wine lol).
