11 month old with REVOLTING nappies

DS (11 months) has had diorehea for three days now. It's been once a day but OMG what nappies they were. Out his nappy, up his back and everywhere. Really foul-smelling too.
He doesn't seem to want to eat but is drinking some water.
Can I give him anything to help or should I just ride it out? He's back in disposables til it's gone cos there's no way I can wash these ones.
Please help!

lol sorry but my dd 9 months is vile and she isnt unwell. my dh was physically sick because of her the other day it was up her back in her arm pits the works. scary thing is the nappy was bone dry!!

eww that is horrible, I've had that so much later, so I have lots of sympathy.
Mine are currently spouting blue diarrheoa - bloody food colouring on a thomas birthday cake! You jsut have to ride it out though.

Should I just not bother about him not eating and carry on with the fluids?

Took my dd to the Drs a while back for similar although she was being sick too, said make sure she has fluids (diarolyte is good, though not sure if they're under 1 - but they probably won't drink it anyway). If they will eat something too that will help. If you usually use washables when dd was ill I put her in a disposable with a motherease wrap over the top, the wrap caught what the disposable let out - but agree about not wanting to use washables until they're better!

It was truly revolting
