An ulcer i think.
AgOnzing isn't it?

fishie · 25/03/2007 22:24

is it trapped (or otherwise tormented) tastebud? doesn't seem to last as long as an ulcer on me.

crystalpony · 25/03/2007 22:25

Depends on whereabouts on the tongue it is doesn't it? You know in the sweet/sour region or whatever...I know that if you get a lumpy bit in the sweet region it is through OD-ing on sugary stuff.

Beetrootccio · 25/03/2007 22:26

it means you have been lieing

catASTROPHE · 25/03/2007 22:27

I don't think its an ulcer - too tiny. maybe a tastebud? What do you mean 'trapped'?

Whatever it is, its on the tip of my tongue and geet rubbing against my teeth...ouch!

crystalpony · 25/03/2007 22:28

Think the tip of the tongue is definately the sweet region...have you been going at the sugary stuff?! I swear this is what it is!!

I used to get them all the time as a kid, usually after a marathon dib dab sherbet session!!!

fishie · 25/03/2007 22:34

no that cannot be true re sweeties. it must be the lying then.

willywonkasegghunt · 25/03/2007 22:34

I get them too cat they're annoying as f* and feel like the size of a football. Always assumed that it's a poorly tastebud and find that anbesol or similar can help. Until then, you'll be catching the blighter - whether intentionally or unintentionally - on your teeth until it chooses to disappear...

willywonkasegghunt · 25/03/2007 22:35

For f, read f**!

catASTROPHE · 25/03/2007 22:36

ok, I confess, have been eating lots of cake, but only to finish off DS's birthday cake. I couldn't see it wasted now could I?

OK so why don't my other asterisks appear... Thought it was a typo but seems not

crystalpony · 25/03/2007 22:40

A-ha! A cake-fest induced tongue affliction!! It will go down in a couple of days - I sympathise - they are seriously twinge-y and sore..
