I have persistent neck and shoulder pain. I have had some x-rays and there is evidence of ligament damage.

Can anyone share experience of using a chiropractor? Did it help?

I would try an actual medically trained physio.

I see a chiropractor for neck problems - stiffness, poor mobility - and thoroughly recommend it. She has a degree in chiropractic and her treatment has changed my life. Before doing anything at all, she took several x-rays of my neck.

Previously I saw a hospital physiotherapist twelve times for the same neck condition, but the treatment did not work for me - it did help, but my neck would very quickly return to its stiff immobile state. He did not take any x-rays or similar.

Give me the chiropractor any time!

Hi I suffer with lower back pain & pain in legs , shoulder , neck not all the time , seen a specialist last year who says I have hypo mobility syndrome I was wondering the same thing is it worth seeing a chiropractor ? When my back is really bad does it work ? doctor says Pilates ?

My chiropractor works miracles on me to keep me moving!

I have some X-rays and they show ligament damage. I saw one clinic that recommended 36 treatments a cost of £3000! Went to a recommended chiropractor who said 2 - 4 treatments. He couldn't believe what the first clinic said.

He also recommended pilates so I need to get back to that.

I have first treatment on Thursday and he said if no pain relief after 2 treatments to try something else.
